Dear Agriculture Victoria,

RE: Location Redacted

We write to lodge a formal complaint regarding breaches of the following:

1. Code of Accepted Farming Practice for the Welfare of Sheep

(Victoria) (Revision Number 3) and associated regulations.

  1. The Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Act 1986 (Vic)

The offences documented in this complaint include:

• Failure to provide adequate supervision.

• Failure to protect from pain, injury.

On the 30th of November 2025, Sheep Advocate Australia documented a single Ewe starving with clear signs of parasite burden.

As per the evidence provided, she is skeletal. She is part of a larger flock, however separated and alone - from another road position, the larger flock were visible and noted as having the beginnings of wool break and flystrike.

Photo and Video evidence provided.

We respectfully ask that you investigate the evidence provided in this complaint as a matter of urgency.

We await your response.

Yours faithfully,

Sheep Advocate Australia
